Available in four different equipment, DLX, DLX_, SR and SR +, the new Toyota Hilux 2012 can be equipped with one of two powertrains available, namely 2WD or 4WD 2.5 D-4D transmission Manuli configurations Single Cab, extra Cab and Double Cab, plus drivetrain 3.0 D-4D 4WD with manual transmission only available for Double Cab configuration. Also, customers can choose for an automatic transmission.
According to Toyota, Hilux 2WD version 2.5 D-4D received an additional 24 horsepower to develop a total of 144 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque, and fuel consumption of this version was improved by about 1.0 liters 100 km for a total of 7.3 liters per 100 km with CO2 emission value of 193 g / km, improvement is 26 grams per km.
Both diesel engines, 2.5 D-4D and 3.0 D-4D are now in line with Euro 5 thanks to equip them with a diesel particulate filter.
